Abstract

Based on one of MoonDAO´s previous proposals MDP-151, we were inspired to start our own financial analytics dashboard specifically for DAOs, and we’d like to partner with you to test it and get your feedback. Our tool provides simple, clear financial insights that help attract users and investors by making financial data more accessible and understandable. We’re offering this completely free during our testing phase, as your feedback will be invaluable in helping us improve the product.

Problem

We’ve noticed that DAOs face challenges in presenting their financial data in ways that users and investors can easily understand and use to make voting decisions. While MoonDAO already has some analytics, we believe there’s an opportunity to make your financial story even clearer and more accessible to potential investors i.e future DAO Members.

Solution

We’ve already built four dashboards using MoonDAO’s publicly available on-chain data:

1. Overview Dashboard: Shows a complete financial snapshot with asset allocation, runway projections, and expense tracking.
2. Simulation Dashboard: Provides simple stress tests to see how different scenarios might affect MoonDAO’s finances.
3. Governance Dashboard: Shows participation patterns to help improve community engagement.
4. Reporting Dashboard: Creates professional reports designed for different audiences, from community members to potential investors.

All four dashboards are ready to use today. We just need MoonDAOs community to try them out and tell us what works and what could be better.

1. Access: We are working on test environment and connection issues to the site may occur. We will handle all technical issues.
2. Future Pricing: You might wonder about costs after the testing phase. Mitigation: We’ll be completely transparent and submit a separate proposal before any charges.
