Abstract

To achieve more timely signatures and protect our Treasury, this proposes the swap of @Ballack on our Treasury for @Ryand2d.

Problem

@Ballack is no longer active in our community, and hasn’t signed any transactions for a few months.

Solution

@Ryand2d has recently been elected as a leader in the Executive Branch, and is a trusted leader in the community.

Benefits

• Faster Execution of transactions from our Treasury after a proposal passes.
• Ensuring the multisig signers are active.
• Getting rid of an inactive member of our Treasury.

Risks

Ryan would be the third member to join the Treasury that is currently working on the Executive Branch. Although there is a five signature approval threshold for execution of transactions, having too much influence from the Executive Branch on the Treasury could concentrate power too much in our community. I would warn the community to not add many more members from the Executive Branch on the Treasury to ensure a separation of powers between the operations team and the treasury.
