Abstract

The Sea & Space Earthweek Event is an international gathering to explore the intersection of ocean and space technologies, sustainability, and innovation. This year’s event includes the SEA & SPACE Summit in London during Earth Week, an exclusive gala dinner and awards ceremony, and various networking opportunities with leaders in these fields.

MoonDAO is invited to sponsor this event as a Bronze sponsor at $10,000. This partnership will provide MoonDAO with visibility, community engagement, and networking opportunities that align with its mission to foster a multiplanetary future and an international community working toward those ends. This proposal also includes up to $3,000 for travel or flex expenses related to the event and ensuring we can maximize the impact of this sponsorship.

Problem

Global awareness and collaboration across industries are crucial for the advancement of space exploration and its interconnected technologies. Events like the Sea & Space Earth Week foster partnerships and innovation but rely on sponsors to maximize their impact and outreach.

MoonDAO’s involvement will address the need for broader community engagement and demonstrate its commitment to advancing the global space ecosystem by linking it with complementary fields like ocean technology and sustainability while promoting the Space Acceleration Network and potential announcements related to the Launch Pad, DePrize, and other core initiatives.

Solution

MoonDAO’s Bronze Sponsorship will support the event’s mission while providing the following opportunities:

• Brand Visibility: MoonDAO will have its branding featured across event collateral, including the website, event screens, and the gala program.
• Strategic Presence: Two reserved seats at the SEA & SPACE Summit offer exclusive opportunities to engage with leaders in related industries.
• Networking Opportunities: Two tickets each to the SEA & SPACE Gala dinner and awards, sponsor reception, and Earth Week closing party allow for high-level interaction with attendees.
• Media Exposure: Access to event media assets will provide content for MoonDAO’s community outreach, showcasing its involvement and influence.
• Community Growth: The sponsorship positions MoonDAO as a key player in global events, helping to attract new members and partnerships.

There is no guarantee of immediate returns. However, this investment builds MoonDAO’s long-term credibility and reach amongst a valuable audience of space professionals.

MoonDAO will need to dedicate representatives and materials for the event. A clear strategy for participation and content creation will maximize the sponsorship’s impact.

Objectives

Objective #1: Execute the sponsorship agreement and payment

• Key Result 1: Achieve the required votes in MoonDAO governance for $10,000 funding approval.
• Key Result 2: Finalize the sponsorship agreement and process payment by February 28, 2025.

Objective #2: Maximize visibility and engagement at the event

• Key Result 1: Provide branding materials (logos, promotional items).
• Key Result 2: Assign 2 representatives to attend all key events and secure interviews or media mentions.
• Key Result 3: Publish 3-5 social media posts showcasing MoonDAO’s involvement during the event.
• Key Result 4: Leverage the network to list event tickets for sale on our platform.

Objective #3: Leverage post-event opportunities

• Key Result 1: Share event media assets with the MoonDAO community within two weeks of event close.
• Key Result 2: Identify and establish 2-3 potential partnerships or initiatives stemming from event connections. Onboard 5 new citizens directly from the event.
