Constitutional Amendment

This Constitutional Amendment proposes the following changes to the Election Process:

1. Specifying that Executive Leads are elected on a yearly basis.
2. A “none” option will always be provided for Executive Lead Elections.
3. A Special Election is held if an Executive Lead doesn’t serve their full three year term.

It Introduces the following limits to Executive Lead Terms and Powers:

1. A two term limit for Executive Leads.
2. Removing the Executive Leads from the Senate to create a greater separation of powers.

It disambiguates the decision making on the Executive Budget for core objectives of the DAO by introducing the concept of a “primary among equals” or “Primus Inter Pares”:

1. A “Primus Inter Pares” between leads who manages the execution of goals and decisions with the yearly budget.
2. This position is agreed upon between Leads, or voted on by the Member House if there isn’t a consensus between Leads.

Along with those changes, all instances of “Astronaut” were changed to “Executive Lead” to be consistent with the Projects System, along with “Rocketeers” being changed to “Project Lead”.
