Moloch DAO

Last chance, the dice barely moves, rolling in my sweaty hand. Hold my breath.

Hand clasped around the die, I bring it to my mouth and rest my lips on my thumb, attempting to kiss for good luck, but only choke. Dirty smoke intoxicates down my esophagus and into my lungs, feeding my heart with poison, consumed by the unsuspecting cells throughout my body.

Stumbling backwards, I lose sight of the game. Waving only smears smoke in my sight more. I try to hear the game, maybe someone calls for me to roll, but a deafening wind whips in my ears. With a hand across my eyes, squinting and peering between fingers, I can barely see light, but it’s hot.

A hellish fire illuminates Moloch. Weapons, meant to slit his throat and rip out his heart, melt off his altar and fill the air with black smoke. I crumble to my knees in a wreck of sobbing.

Face in my hands, the only coolness is a lone die. What chance can one die have against the demon god of coordination failure? Many dice in a hand is better odds.

Moving stealthily and effective, like undergarments not accessories, I go to gather the Moloch Slayers. We got distracted with scarcity, but now we harness our attention, together.

Voting yes sends 18.546 ETH from Moloch DAO to Chones DAO, emptying the Moloch DAO treasury.
