DESCRIPTION The election process for the ApeCoin Governance Working Group Stewards was established across AIP-239, AIP-347, and AIP-412, which outline the process for an equal and fair opportunity to be elected as a Governance Working Group Steward. In this vote, the top 2 candidates will be elected as Stewards of the Governance Working Group. The term shall begin July 1, 2024, and will last for one (1) year.

OVERALL COST Each Governance Working Group Steward shall receive compensation as stated in AIP-408, or $9,000.00 of ApeCoin equivalent each month for the length of the current Governance Working Group budget, which expires at the end of September 2024.

To request Working Group funds, Leads of each Working Group will submit Ecosystem Fund Allocation Proposals, as defined in AIP-1 Proposing the DAO (‘Ecosystem Fund Allocation Proposal’) in the form of a Working Group Budget Proposal within the final 15 days (inclusive) of the months of February and August each calendar year (each a ‘Funding Window’).
