Reduce Buyer Rewards For Improved Scaling
When: NEXT Distro, not the pending Rewards distribution being finalized.
Goal: Tune Buyer Rewards in-line with the rest of the Robot Issuance schedule and the scaling token/$ model from Sales Milestones, opening up more opportunity for rewarding holders/LPs, staking mechanics, and contributors/initiatives that have a larger impact/net positive on the entire $ROBOT market health and expansion.
Why:
- Open more $ROBOT to allocate towards rewarding holders via reward multipliers for Staking or LPing
- Open more $ROBOT to rewarding contributors and the techs/designers seeing diminishing returns while Buyer Rewards have maintained 42% with huge upside while $ROBOT market price has been lower.
- 42% back was an early bootstrapping mechanic. With MetaFactory growth, incoming wearables, higher quality output and partner demand – More value can be provided with token drops from Partners and new $ROBOT utility.
Options for Base Rewards (without any multiplier mechanics):
- Reduce to 30%
- Reduce to 20%
- Reduce to 30% now, then to 20% at 3.2 Milestone
- Keep at 42%
