MASK

ITO (Initial Twitter Offering) is a new feature Mask Network developed at the beginning of 2021. Individuals and organizations can conduct decentralized asset offering directly on social media, and users could participate in a token offering directly on Twitter.

Since inception, we designed ITO to be permissionless for all internet users. Individuals and projects could choose to launch a permissionless or a community choice ITO. To help people make better use of ITO, Mask Network introduced a community voting mechanism and formed ITO Review Committee (learn more https://news.mask.io/zh-Hans/2021/04/22/ito-is-upgraded-who-is-the-next ), to benefit the growth of the Mask Network ecosystem with the help of the community.

We opened up applications for the ITO Review Committee and ITO Projects on April 22nd. On April 27th, 11 $MASK holders were selected out of more than 40 applicants and formed the first ITO Review Committee.

Evanesco Network is the first project that applied for ITO since we introduced the community voting mechanism. After a thorough examination and sufficient communication with the project, the decision to pass the preliminary review was made carefully by the Committee.

Now we will begin the third step of a community choice ITO ---- $MASK Voting

The Snapshot vote will last for 36 hours, all $MASK holders could vote “Yes” or “No” on this ITO. The quorum is 100,000 $MASK (the vote is not valid until there are at least 100,000 votes), with a more than 66.67% approval ratio (Numbers could be changed in the future).
