MaskDAO purposes to make continuous donations in the following four Gitcoin Grants Rounds. The donations will be made to the next four Gitcoin Rounds, starting from 25k $MASK for Gitcoin Grants Round 13.

MaskDAO has used funds from the liquidity reserve to donate a total of 19,855 $MASK to Gitcoin.

Mask Network has had a close relationship with Gitcoin. Gitcoin creates a community for builders, creators, and protocols at the center of open-web ecosystems, and has been the developer community partner of Mask for a long time. Gitcoin provides the easiest way to leverage the open-source community to incentivize or monetize work, and Mask Network is one of the largest bounty sponsors of Gitcoin.

Apart from the partnership in project building and development, MaskDAO also pursued a strategic token swap with Gitcoin. The long-term vision of Mask Network, which is to build a decentralized application ecosystem directly on top of social networks, cannot be built without Gitcoin, and we would like to show our support for the public good and open-source programs.

The Snapshot vote will last for 48 hours, all $MASK holders could vote “Yes” or “No” on the proposal. The voting result from the $MASK community will decide whether MaskDAO will make donations to Gitcoin Grants Rounds.
