Funding Requested: $10,000 (~4 days of proceeds from secondary sales)

Summary : On Tuesday, March 15th a passenger van carrying the golf team from the University of Southwest collided with a truck outside of Andrews, TX while traveling from a tournament in Midland, TX. The van was carrying members of the men’s and women’s golf team from the small Christian college located in Hobbs, NM. The coach and six players were killed in the collision with two players in critical condition at a hospital in Lubbock, TX. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were also killed. This would be a donation made through a site set up by the university for the victims and their families.

Motivation: These kids were traveling and competing for their team in a sport we all love. This is a chance to spread our charity arm and donate to help a terrible situation.

Effort: This would be minimal effort to accomplish, the logistics of making a payment from treasury or reimbursing someone to do it would be the only effort.

Detail of Proposal: The proposal is to donate $10,000 to the donation page set up by the University. These funds would come from the LinksDAO Treasury wallet.

Rationale: We are a golf loving community, built to spread our love of the game. There is no ROI on this, just goodwill and a chance to slightly ease the burden for those affected.

Voting: Yes = LinksDAO will donate $10,000 from the Treasury Wallet to the website set up by the university. No = No donation would be made on behalf of LinksDAO. Abstain = Add a vote to quorum requirement without choosing a side.
