Proposal Name: Use Secondary Sales Royalties to Donate to the First Tee Authors: JenS, Cooper

Funding Requested: 72 hours (5/27-5/29) of future OpenSea secondary sales royalties, with a minimum donation of $10,000 (no capped maximum).

Summary: Donate royalty proceeds from 5/27-5/29 (72 hours) of secondary sales to the First Tee.

Motivation: This is an opportunity for LinksDAO to contribute to an organization that plays a critical role in growing the game of golf with an ethos that is very much in line with the mission of LinksDAO’s community. The First Tee’s mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, and instill life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

Effort: Minimal - The logistics of payment from the treasury would be the only effort.

Detail of Proposal: Donate 100% of LinksDAO secondary sales royalties generated from 5/27-5/29 (72 hours) to the PGA Tour First Tee Foundation, Inc. (not a specific local First Tee chapter). If the vote passes, the donation period will be from 5/27 12pm ET to 5/29 12 pm ET. Due to current market conditions and the desire to make a significant contribution, a minimum of $10,000 will be donated if the secondary sales royalties do not amount to more than $10,000. The donation will be made within 30 days of 72 hour period closing.

Rationale: The First Tee programs give kids a safe place to grow with trained coaches who help them navigate challenges during golf lessons but more importantly, off the course. As a community built around the love of golf and its core values, this charitable donation helps spread the love of the game and will directly impact the future generation in a positive way. The First Tee founding organizations include the PGA Tour, LPGA, USGA, PGA of America, and The Masters Tournament. The First Tee is a 501©(3) and all donations are tax deductible. This is the first step in what we hope to be a long-term relationship with this organization, including hosting events for local First Tee Chapters at our course.

Voting: Voting Yes = LinksDAO will donate royalty proceeds from 5/27-5/29 (72 hours) of secondary sales to the First Tee, with the minimum donation being $10,000.

Voting No = No donation would be made on behalf of LinksDAO.

Voting to Abstain = Will add a vote to quorum requirement without choosing a side.
