We have been asked by the Executive Committee of Numazu City to create a large-scale mural in front of Numazu Station.

We will be creating and exhibiting a work called “This is pop Numazu.”

This location faces Numazu Station, and a large commercial facility is planned to be built there. We plan to create a 2m x 5m mural on the temporary fence for the construction site. There is also a scramble intersection right in front of the wall.

This is RICOH Street, a street named after RICOH Co., Ltd., and the surrounding area is an educational district with elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, and universities. For this reason, we need to make this wall Nounish for the students who will be looking at the mural on their way to school every morning. We plan to exhibit the work we create for about 2 or 3 years, and then move it to a mobile exhibition. We also plan to sell it to collectors. Work will begin later this month. As we enter the Japanese summer, the heat will be intense, and we will need to raise funds for production costs, costs to cover the heat, as well as the cost of art supplies and the costs of our activities, so we hope to work together with Nouns DAO to make this happen.
