Lil Nouns DAO

Proposal: Dev Onboarding Through ETHGlobal London + Prop House Location: ETH Global London & Prop House Audience: Developers Team: Bixbite

Overview: This initiative aims to elevate Lil Nouns’ brand presence by participating in Nouns Fair which is an irl activation + bounty program initiative run by Mono & Lex of Nouns Amigos. I will be joining them at ETHGlobal London March 15-17th, and think this is a great opportunity to onboard developers into the Lil Nouns ecosystem.

Nouns Fair Impact: Nouns Fair takes place at ETH Global events across the world. Collectively 241 Nounish projects have been submitted across 8 ETHGlobal events with 27 projects being rewarded bounties.

Bixbite Impact: While at ETH Denver I personally connected with 43 developers, meaning exchanged contact information. I told them about both Nouns and Lil Nouns and the opportunity for funding that’s available including Prop House rounds. Since we did not have an active round I was unable to convert them to submissions, but told them I would send them information when our next one goes live. I would expect to connect with the same, if not more developers at ETHGlobal London.

Lil Dev Onboarding:

• Educate Hackers about Lil Nouns as a SubDAO of Nouns
• Discuss various ways to become part of the community: join discord, follow social accounts, join weekly meetings
• Pass out marketing materials discussing alternative funding sources: onchain + Prop House
  • Marketing materials will have a QR code they scan that takes them to a landing page with info about the Prop House round & links to the round, info & links on how to mint their Lil Dev pass, Lils Warpcast account, Lils Discord server, Lils twitter account, TLNS twitter account, Lil Nouners Twitter account, etc
• I will be interviewing Developers & have a minimum of 3 recorded sessions to deliver (delivery will be 1 week after Prop House round ends so I have time for editing)
• Dot will be making me a co-host on the Lil Nouns Farcaster channel & I will be posting daily & moderating the channel.

Lil Dev Prop House Round: Token Gated Farcaster Frames Prop House Round. Prizes: There will be (10) 0.5 ETH winners, voted on by the Lil Nouns community. Requirements will be to create a frame as a public good that the Lil Nouns community can utilize (such as a frame to bid in our auction) or include Lil Nouns assets within your frame (such as clicking on the frame & showing all of your Lil Assets in your wallet).

Why Farcaster Frames? Farcaster is increasing users and engagement at an exponential rate. Currently Lil Nouns engagement rate is falling flat. As you can see our engagement over the last 7 days is 78 vs the Nouns Denver channel that was recently created which has an engagement of 2,200 and the main Nouns DAO channel has an engagement of 14,000. Hosting this Frames bounty / Prop House round will increase engagement, followers and convert community members.

Conclusion: This proposal will test the viability of a token gated Prop House round, along with testing the engagement, followers and community conversions of increasing our Farcaster presence.

The Ask: 7eth to recruit developers into the Lil Nouns ecosystem and a mandated Farcaster Frames Prop House round. The budget will be used for the following:

• Prop House Prizes (10) 0.5 eth prizes.
• Lil Dev shirts to give out at ETHGlobal London (100)
• Marketing materials with quick information on Lils & QR code to scan for more info
• Daily posting on Lil Nouns Farcaster channel from start of ETHGlobal London until voting ends for the Prop House round.
• Creation of Lil Devs landing page
• Art for Lil Dev mint pass
• 30 day report with analytics from Lil Devs landing page
• Report after completion of the Prop House round
• Admin cost for running the Prop House round
• Admin cost for running the onboarding program at ETHGlobal London

Team: Bixbite: Passionate about onboarding Developers into the Lil Nouns ecosystem. Currently involved in weekly Coding Club sessions with Mulf & SQX and working on Nouns Fair 2024 proposal with Mono & Lex. I love onboarding people at irl events and for my last proposal Lil Nouns x NFT Melbourne I was able to onboard 12 people which 4 of them went on to create Lil Nouns content for the Nouns x Everyone video contest.

ROI To The DAO: I love stats & data and believe it is important that I can show the DAO a direct ROI from this proposal. I will be collecting data for the report from the following sources:

• Lil Devs landing page traffic and engagement
• Lil Dev Pass mints
• ETH returned to the DAO from Zora Protocol Rewards
• New Discord onboards to Lils server
• Proposal submissions to the token gated Prop House round.
• Increased engagement and followers to Lil Nouns Farcaster channel

I will provide a report to the DAO one week after the Prop House round ends, along with a report with analytics from the Lil Devs landing page 30 days after ETHGlobal London.
