Overview: As an official satellite event of ETH Chicago, a Lil Gnarly Skate Jam brings together the vibrant skateboarding community of Chicago with the cutting edge world of the decentralized Nounish community.

Timeline: Saturday September 16th, 2023

  3pm: Opening Remarks and Acknowledgments

  3:15pm-5pm: DJs playing, local skate vendors

  Open format skating, spontaneous mini-competitions

  5pm-6pm: Official Gnarly Trick Competition featuring the Noggles Rail

  6pm-7pm: Local Chicago Musical Acts

  7pm: Closing Remarks

  7pm-10pm: Event Breakdown/ Cleanup

      Pre-Selected List of Tricks the contestants have the option to choose from and complete. The competition has the same amount of tricks available as it does skaters in competition. Each trick will have a varying value of prize awarded depending on difficulty- The Largest being $500.

      Skaters have 18 seconds to complete their desired trick. This leaves room for warm up runs while keeping the competition flowing at a fast pace
