Lil Nouns DAO

TL;DR

My name is Arash, I am a video game and animation creator. I would like to create a one-minute introductory animation video, and I am proposing a unique process for doing so.

• Initiate a Mandated Prop House round so builders submit a video script and community votes on the most interesting one;
• From there, I will choose one that best fits the budget and scope of the project and proceed to create the animation video;
• 1-2 week(s) before video is complete, a Marketing Prop House round will be initiated get more eyes on the video. Inspired by $200k Video Marketing Contest.

My total ask is 8 ETH; 1.5 ETH allocated to two Mandated Prop House rounds, and 7 ETH for creating the animation video.

Introduction

GM everyone, I’m Arash, a video game and animation director. Here’s some of the work I have done:

• Lil Nouns Music Video funded by Lil Nouns’ Content Pod;

• additionally, if you take a look at my Twitter media, you will find even more Nounish animation content I have made in the past six months.

What Ordinary Folk did for Nouns inspired me to create a community-written, Lil Nouns-specific video.

Here’s the plan…

I want to create a community-driven, fun, informative, 1-minute Lil Nouns DAO introductory video by leveraging Prop House so that builders submit a script for a 1-minute video, Lil Nouners vote for the most interesting one, and I create the video using the top voted script. Here is a breakdown of the process:

• 1.5 ETH will be transferred directly to Lil Nouns’ Prop House wallet address to launch 2 mandated Prop House rounds;
  • 2 x 0.4 ETH Prop House round for a video script. Lil Nouners vote for a script they’d like me to use for creating an animation video.
  • 2 x 0.35 ETH Prop House round for marketing the video. I.
• I will pick one that best suits the scope of the project and work with the proposer to finalize the script.
• Using the finalized script, I create the 1-minute animation video.
• 1-2 week(s) before finalizing the animation video, the second mandated Prop House round will be launched to market the animation video. Inspired by $200k Video Marketing Contest.

Video Animation Topics

Although topics are open, I have observed there is a lack of content around these topics:

1. What a Nounish content actually means.
2. DAO mechanism explanation.
3. DAO’s passion for attracting developers, artists, and ideologists in all fields.
4. Investment in a fully decentralized ecosystem.
5. Explaining other parts of the DAO like prop house and such.

Budget

• 1.5 ETH - 2 mandated Prop House rounds;
  • 0.4 ETH x 2 Winners = 0.8 ETH
  • 0.35 ETH x 2 Winners = 0.7 ETH
• 7 ETH - Create animation video

Timeline

• Finalizing the script: 2-3 weeks
• Working on Animation: 6-8 weeks
• Prop House Round for Marketing the video: 1-2 weeks
