DBAG Full-Time Contributor Funding Request

Summary

I am requesting a monthly budget of 9000 USDC for 6 months to be a full-time contributor to strategize and execute on the following

  • Overall Krause House marketing & business development
  • International expansion efforts
  • IRL experiences & fan engagement

The Role

Marketing & business development

Content Creation Creating content that is focused on sharing our core mission, highlighting our community, and showcasing our projects. Curating content to capture attention and lure in a wider audience of basketball fans. Focus on content collaborations with adjacent basketball related groups and projects.

Assist in BD Relations

Keeping conversations active between partners formed since NFT NYC to continuously explore further collaboration in the coming year. Through our marketing channels, active project needs and network continue to form new relations that align with Krause House’s mission

Upkeep of Social Presence

Daily activity across socials keep Krause House presence consistent. Managing a content calendar from projects and teams across the DAO. Socials include IG, Twitter, TikTok, Website

International expansion efforts

Growing international audience

Strategizing how to engage audiences on our socials and through our partners with the goal of gaining more international members and opportunities such as court refurbishments.

Court Refurb

Working with AIFS to create a court refurbishment platform, however focusing only on sourcing projects, high-level project execution, storytelling (content)

IRL experiences & fan engagement

Raising sponsorships funds

Making sponsorship funding a top priority for any IRL engagement which will include leveraging BD relations and project reach + scope to create a tailored deck to pitch so Krause House treasury shall not be impacted.

Curating experiences

Scoping future events that align with KH goals and ability. Coming up with ideas unique to the goals of each experience. Putting all the pieces together that could include partner collaborations, production planning, marketing strategy, content capturing

Proposal

  • A six month budget of $9,000 USDC paid monthly start from when this proposal passes

Protections:

  • Stewardship team may cancel this agreement at any point.
  • Community may submit a proposal to cancel this agreement at any point.

Intention

From talking and getting co-approval from stewards such as Mario, Flex, and Shanny our marketing efforts looks to be spread the most thin within Krause House. Our social presence being top of the funnel for all our projects and opportunities it could use a singular member focus. It’s also the perfect pillar to focus so it can support adjacent goals of IRL fan engagement and our international expansion efforts. All of which is a core value add that’s actively being pitched to ownership groups. My goal is to start with implementing a more consistent marketing strategy so we can grow our online presence and cultural reputation in the basketball world. Here a few starting metrics to be re-evaluated monthly based on results.

  • 20% increase in follower count on at least one social outlet
  • 10% more engagement on at least one outlet
  • 5% additional members

Milestone Goals:

  • secure additional court refurbish project
  • confirm at least 2 more events
  • reach 100k users

Why DBAG

Coming from an entrepreneurial background DBAG brings a skillset of taste-making, execution & raising. Some of DBAG’s past ventures include owning a production studio in LA, creating a platform for pop-up experiences pre pandemic, operations lead at redacted finance. DBAG has been early member since having his Notion systems forked but his contributions since has included:

  • NFT NYC - curating and executing the most engaging event at NFT NYC 22 with a team of 10. This also included strategizing our marketing presence, outreach and overall strategy. Raised $60k in sponsorship funds
  • Tech Runs Basel - planned, curated and executed on event. This including also creating all brand assets and marketing materials. Created pitch deck and strategy provided support in raising $45k in sponsorship funds
  • Formed warm relations with In The Lab, Swish House, Terrance Mann, LA Laker’s Front Office, Crew League, AEBL, Tech Runs, Mike Swift, Ros Gold, Bobbito and more
  • Provided assistance in closing ITL x KH partnership
  • Developed pitch deck and strategy for CEBL conversations with Mario
  • Developed pitch deck and strategy for pitching to Terrance Mann and his foundation
  • Developed the idea and pitch deck for BIG3 TV Show with Jon & Mario
  • Philippines activation - Executed and documenting the journey of refurbishing a court in the Philippines as one of KH’s first big effort at international engagement and expansion
  • Helped place Heat Check at Tech Runs Basel
  • Responsible for current website oversight and changes
  • Responsible for Krause Court storage and distribution
  • Interviewed with the NY times to share KH mobilizes on IRL activations and the impact they have
