Motivation

With the acquisitions of the Rumble Kong League Club, Ball Hogs Big3 Team; establishment of the DIO, International Expansion, and esports teams; and active discussions with several NBA teams… Krause House is at an inflection point.

It is becoming apparent that Krause House could be a conduit for billions of dollars in capital.

We see a window of opportunity, for Krause House to raise and manage the capital our community needs to decentralize ownership and bring forth the future of sport we imagine.

We don’t know how far this could go, but we want to give it a shot.

Scope of Work

Lewwwk#4227 will dedicate 3 days per week, up to 12 days per month, to accelerate capital formation and coordination efforts for Krause House in relation to acquisitions and investment funds. He will work closely with Commodore, Flex, and Stewards to:

• Establish a capital coordination CRM
• Curate community introductions and meet with potential capital providers and intermediaries
• Coordinate development of capital strategy and partnership opportunities
• Interface with DIO, International Expansion, and other teams with large scale capital needs
• Support capital structuring and entity formation as required

Oversight

Core and Stewards will be able to monitor progress through the CRM and existing stewards communication channels to ensure value is being delivered in line with this proposal and Krause House’s needs.

Context and Rationale

This proposal is to provide immediate capacity to assist Krause House in attracting and securing the capital it needs to realize its mission.

Lewwwk already has a deep understanding of Krause House, its capital needs, and its potential role in the future of sports and web3. He has an active background venture, finance and capital markets particularly as applied to systems transformation; has represented Krause House in media; initiated the DIO and Purpose & Values teams; is an Owner’s Box ticket holder; and serves as a Steward.

What Does Success Look Like

Difficult by one, achievable by many.

Success would look like a Krause House developing a basic capital coordination capacity that could serve the growing capital needs of the Krause House community.

Process and Infrastructure

• Capital relationship CRM to track capital opportunities (e.g. acquisitions) and commitments
• Over 500 potential capital providers identified (investors and intermediaries)
• Over 150 formal interactions with potential capital providers (by core and stewards)
• Initial entities and/or mechanisms established for first fund or acquisition vehicle

Capital Commitments

• Capital closed for Krause House Venture Fund > $5mm
• Acquisition anchor commitments (soft-circled) > $10mm for NBA team acquisition
• Treasury diversification round commitments (soft-circled) > $1mm

⚠️ Given market volatility and macro sentiment, it is highly likely that one or more of the capital commitment goals will not be met within this 3 month time frame. We should at minimum though be well positioned to fulfill the highest priority capital needs of Krause House entering into September 2022.
