Summary:

This proposal aims to establish a new “Humanity Court” on the Gnosis Chain to manage disputes arising from the Proof of Humanity (PoH) Origin registration system. The Humanity Court will function similarly to the existing Humanity Court on the Ethereum network but will operate on the Gnosis Chain to ensure cross-chain compatibility and accessibility for users of PoH Origin.

Context:

Proof of Humanity Origin (PoH Origin) has introduced a new, decentralised, sybil-resistant human registration system deployed on both Gnosis and Ethereum mainnet. The system is designed to ensure a unique identity verification process for humans across both networks. As a result, there is a need for a dedicated Humanity Court on Gnosis Chain to handle disputes related to registration and identity verification under this new framework.

1. Court Name: Humanity Court

2. Parent Court: General Court

3. Court Parameters:

• Hidden Votes: 0 (Avoiding a reveal period allows faster resolution time)
• Proposed Juror Fee: 6.6 xDAI (xDAI is the native Gnosis Chain currency)
• Proposed Minimum Stake (minstake): 5300 PNK (Pinakion tokens required for participation as a juror).
• Proposed Alpha: 0.25 (Alpha defines the percentage of the minstake that can be lost by a juror for an incoherent vote)
• Jurors for Jump: 14 (Number of jurors required for the first appeal.)
• Times per Period: [140400, 291600, 291600, 194400]

4. Court Policy:

• Purpose: The Humanity Court will handle disputes related to the establishment of sybil-resistant lists of unique human identities, specifically for the Proof of Humanity (PoH) Origin protocol. It will evaluate whether submitted evidence (such as photo and video) corresponds to a unique, living human being.

• Required Skills for Jurors: Jurors should have the ability to objectively assess whether a proposed submission, consisting of photo and video evidence, represents a unique human being and follow the PoH v2 Policy. This evaluation may include supplementary information provided as evidence by relevant parties.
