Thesis:

Move Jango’s payout to be conducted through the DAO’s V2 treasury. Send to Jango Bango (project ID 55).

Abstract:

Now that V1 ⇒ V2 project token migration is being deployed, we can start putting funds into the V2 treasury to manage payouts from.

Move $200k worth of ETH from our V1 treasury to the V2 treasury to manage payouts from, and move the payment directed at jango.eth to be directed at the Jango Bango V2 project.

Motivation:

I want to start personally managing my stash from a v2 project. I think the DAO is also ready to move payout operations from its v2 treasury.

Risks:

Slightly more management. We are already managing two reconfigure transactions every 2 weeks (one for v1 treasury and one for our v2 treasury). We only manage payouts from the v1 treasury, so this will add a vector of complexity, but it is one that is inevitable on our journey to deprecate V1. We might as well start sooner so that we can finish sooner.

Specification:

Step 1:

In the v1 reconfig for FC#25:

- Move $200,000 from the v1 treasury to the multisig.

- Remove payout to jango.eth.

In the v2 reconfig for FC#4:

- Add a payout of $21,000 to project ID 55 (Jango Bango).

Step 2: Multisig addTobalance the commensurate amount of ETH to the Juicebox DAO v2 treasury anytime during the DAO’s FC#4 on v2 so that the payout can be distributed.

Rationale:

The multisig must coordinate between v1 and v2 treasuries. It’s not worth writing and testing componentry to automate this since v1 is being deprecated.
