Thesis:

To pay zhape.eth (0x5706d5aD7A68bf8692bD341234bE44ca7Bf2f654）a retroactive one-time payout to compensate his contribution from FC12 ~ FC21 (altogether 10FCs)for an amount of USD8000.

Abstract:

zhape was approved his trial payout on FC10. Ever since then he has been working as mod and translator in the community very actively. This is to compensate what he has done for the DAO.

Motivation:

He hopes that his contribution in the past can be recognized by the community, a little bit more emotionally than financially.

Risks:

Retroactive payout for such a long time can be a bad precedent.

Specification:

Give zhape.eth (0x5706d5aD7A68bf8692bD341234bE44ca7Bf2f654）a one-time payout of USD8000 in the next funding cycle.

Rationale:

He has done a lot for this community and hopes to get the recognition from the community in return.

What he has done so far:

1. Community communications:

   1. Compiled and wrote a weekly summary about the activity for Chinese General Channel and submitted to the townhall for roughly eight weeks, with the help of @twodam,

   2. Translated and compiled a summary of town hall meeting with the help of @Zom_bae, for roughly four weeks, and shared it in the Chinese General channel in Discord,

   3. Acted as an interpreter on a bilingual meeting on Dec, 2021.

   4. Translated some proposals for reference of CN member when there is no translation tasks put forward.

2. Community support:

   1. Helped answering questions of other members and direct them to relevant channels or notion page when necessary,

   2. Helped set up a CN governance channel and guided active members to discuss in dedicated channel about possible proposals and share opinions in this regard,

   3. Worked together with @twodam to keep the order in relevant channels and try to soothe extreme emotions, which was typically hard work esp. between the end of 2021 and beginning of 2022.

   4. Together with @twodam, he went through the finished translation tasks to find some low quality translation, revised a few and re-translated a few of them.

3. Alignment for Juicebox ecosystem:

   He was one of the first to report suspicious activities in the projects on Juicebox protocol, e.g. the HeritageDAO (https://discord.com/channels/775859454780244028/879851197857677372/936174023723876412) , which partly lead to the establishment of Moody’sDAO (https://discord.com/channels/775859454780244028/876252266594721873/940469503836434473)of which he is still an active contributor. He also filed some more reports about other projects, such as DAODenver, fake Juicebox on BSC, etc. before the Moody’sDAO was founded. The reports written for Moody’sDAO are not included here as contributions because Moody’sDAO might want to apply for support from JuiceboxDAO separately.

Timeline:

Effective in the coming Funding cycle if this proposal is approved.
