Summary:

Evenly distribute a total of 100,000,000 JBX to all 3,105 wallets which held 10,000 or more JBX as of Ethereum block 14,128,906.

Motivation:

• Further distribution of JBX mitigates existential risks to Juicebox and the Juicebox ecosystem. The more decentralized JBX is, the more resilient the ecosystem is to individual bad actors or hostile takeovers.
• Further JBX distribution will allow for governance to more closely reflect the views of the Juicebox community at large.
• Holding JBX is one of the most direct representations of Juicebox ecosystem membership. This distribution will reward many who have contributed to Juicebox and have not been recognized in other ways.

Risks:

• In general, this proposal amplifies the relative voting power of wallets with less JBX, and diminishes the relative voting power of wallets with more JBX. Wallets with more JBX have a greater vested interest in Juicebox, and reducing their relative voting power could negatively impact governance outcomes.
• Many of these wallets are likely inactive, meaning the JBX will not be put to use.

Specification:

Use disperse.app to send 32,206 JBX to all 3105 wallets which held 10,000 or more JBX as of Ethereum block 14,128,906. A full list of JBX holders and balances at block 14,128,906 can be found here, and a list of all qualifying wallet addresses can be found here.

Rationale:

• A snapshot and a 10,000 JBX minimum will prevent most sybil attacks.
• disperse.app dramatically reduces gas fees for a transaction of this nature.
• Although the total amount of JBX distributed is extremely high, the amount per wallet is moderate. This will have a decentralizing effect on the JBX token and Juicebox governance.

Timeframe:

This JBX will be distributed immediately, and only once.
