Synopsis

Add additional management of the Juicebox Twitter account to the Peel team to better leverage potential growth opportunities, and subscribe to Twitter Blue.

Motivation

With the Peel team consistently executing new JBM features, updates, and changes, we would like to accompany the frequent shipping efforts by creating and proliferating visibility content through our largest, and most underutilized channel, Twitter.

This has become increasingly important as we attempt to update and inform our users/community with the latest news and activity on the product through which the majority of members have interacted with the protocol through.

Specification

1. Provide additional admin responsibilities of the Juicebox Twitter to team Peel to provide consistent and predictable updates on the state, updates, and features of the Juicebox.money product, along with occasional marketing tweets focused on growth/acquisition. Examples of such updates include:**

1. Upcoming features, changes or improvements:

   • “A new and improved project page layout is coming soon to Juicebox.money. Making it easier than ever to get your project funded. Keep your eyes peeled 👀 [Teaser image/video]”

2. Deployed/launched features of changes:

   • “You can now keep your project contributors up to date by sharing rich markdown updates directly to your project page on Juicebox.money. Now available to all Juicebox project owners: [Link to article to read more + image/video of feature]”
     

3. Community/user feedback and engagement

   • Poll on using ‘X’ feature

4. Growth/acquisition tweets:

   • “On average, projects that add NFT rewards receive a 22% higher average contribution amount. Check out all our NFT projects [Link to explore w/ ‘NFT’ tag enabled]”

2. Subscribe to Twitter Blue for A$135/year to increase engagement and be prioritized in the algorithm.

Rationale

The Juicebox official Twitter account currently has 16.8K followers and has declining performance statistics (https://socialblade.com/twitter/user/juiceboxeth). The current Juicebox Twitter strategy is to retweet ecosystem tweets (which would still remain in place) however tweets are known to perform better than retweets in regards to engagement and impressions, and native tweets open up the opportunity for other accounts to retweet and see the tweet increase impressions factoring in the follower count of the account that is retweeting.

Twitter Blue users have seen higher engagement and impressions than non-subscribed accounts.

By introducing an additional Twitter strategy and upgrading to Twitter Blue, on top of the current re-tweeting strategy, we open up new opportunities to reach, inform and acquire new and existing users.

Risks

• Peel team may worsen the declining performance of the Twitter account
• The additional strategy may fail to gain traction
• The A$135 cost may not produce a sufficient return
