Title: Cover the costs for Public Relations in Conferences

Thesis:

In the week from 23-27 of may Zeugh and JohnnyD ave been to two conferences to present juicebox and research the user needs and how it can fit those. This came trough as an experiment in the ongoing discussion about guerilla marketing and juicebox presence in conferences.

This proposals aims to reimburse both contributors for the costs of accommodations, entrance to the conferences and transport, for a total of €2188.94, or $2348,82 or 1.34 ETH at the time of the writting.

Abstract:

• Cover the costs for @johnnyD and Zeugh to attend NFT Berlin - https://nftberlin.org/(in Berlin, Germany) and Blocksplit - https://blocksplit.net/ (in Split, Croatia).

Those costs include transportation, accommodations and tickets.

• Cover the costs for marketing initiatives, like sticker production, juice-box distribution and gear necessary for our impact to work well

• The total costs, described below in specification sum up to a total of: 1.34 ETH, split as 0.91 ETH for Zeugh and .43 for JohnnyD.

Motivation:

Spreading juicebox protocol visibility and utility to new ecosystem of users, focusing on builders.

Learn the best practices to start a public relations cohort and support juicebox growth

Learning more of how project creators that don’t use juicebox are doing for management of their own treasuries

Understanding how different local ecosystems are building and how can we be a part of that in a way that benefits both JB and those communities

Risks:

Most of the bridges we’ve set are still ongoing discussion, so we can’t clearly specify results yet. Projects onboard, new contributors help and adaptation to strategies will take some more time to get established from this experience

Rationale:

In the last few weeks Zeugh and JohnnyD have been to two conferences in behalf of juiceboxDAO, focused on presenting juicebox to new project creators, meeting possible new partnerships and doing field research with users to understand best use cases and needs.

The first one was Blockslplit in croatia, from which results in possible partnerships and new projects were created in the areas of marketing, legal and music NFTs.

The second was NFT Berlin, where we established contacts with local NFT creator groups, metaverse-to-real-life-to-metaverse streaming, DeSci communities and NFT project creators.

In both places there were also relevant insights in product fit and evolution, as well as how to best perform irl marketing in such events.
