What gaps do you see in the DAO’s process, and how might you help to fill them? Juicebox DAO’s new Notion-based project management Worskpace has illuminated the many tasks DAO contributors believe should be accomplished to maintain and improve the protocol. Although we have only just begun transitioning task management to the Workspace, it is already apparent that important recurring tasks across a variety of Focus Areas are at risk of being forgotten, given the few contributor-hours available to complete them. As Juicebox grows in popularity, achieving these Community Management, Governance, and Protocol Development tasks becomes crucial to the viability of the protocol and the healthy decentralization of the DAO.

In order to enable builders of all stripes to focus on their respective domains, it would be pertinent at this stage of the DAOs development to engage a project manager who can focus on an overview of the DAOs operations.

@Zom_Bae_ has offered to take on a project management role. Prior to this proposal, Zom has already taken it upon herself to speak with individual contributors to understand the DAOs contributor-composition. She has also begun to coordinate meetings and facilitate task completion and contributor onboarding across a variety of Discord channels.

What might a starter project be for you? I propose that Zom_Bae_ be added to the Spending roster for project management work because I believe this is a crucial function that is currently handled by all contributors in addition to their specific roles, to the detriment of their focus and the DAOs good functioning. I believe that Zom_Bae_ has the social skills and focus to keep tasks from falling through the cracks, while her clear thinking and collaborative spirit will help her to refine and build new processes that increase contributor happiness and output.

I believe that the trial period payout’s success should be evaluated based on Zom’s ability to improve contributor coordination and task completion. If the trial period is successful, I hope that the DAO will see fit to increase Zom’s payout and introduce her to the Recurring Spending roster.
