JPEG’d

In light of the recent hack on a contract authored by Curve, it’s incumbent upon them to consider reimbursements for the affected parties. Any resulting negative backlash for not providing this reimbursement would justly fall on Curve.

However, should the JPEG voters contemplate misappropriating our DAO’s treasury to self-compensate for an incident we bear no responsibility for, simply because they hold a majority of the votes, that would be a genuine betrayal and is ethically wrong. Such a decision would irreparably damage JPEG’s reputation, trailing it indefinitely into the future.
