PIP-93 - End iJPEG redemption program
Abstract
PIP-8 Dissolve iJPEG and redistribute holdings was passed on Mar 12th 2024, marking the end of iJPEG. This proposal proposes to put an end date for the iJPEG to ETH redemption program. All iJPEG token after the migration end date won’t be able to be used to redeem ETH. The proposed end date for the last redemption is October 30th 2024.
Background
Around 182 iJPEG have been redeemed against the underlying ETH, while ~77.2 is held by the DAO. In order to warp up this program, we suggest to put an end to the iJPEG to ETH redemption. 6 months deems to be sufficient time to redeem ETH for users.
Effective October 30th 2024, holders of iJPEG token will no longer have the ability to redeem ETH against their iJPEG.

The remaining ETH will be sent to the treasury multisig.
