[Temperature check] - FInal LP staking implementation (2/2)
This is the second poll for the final LP staking implementation. You can find the other poll in the [Snaphot page]. Regardless of which LP staking implementation model the community chooses, it also has to decide what happens with the Sushi rewards that the deployer of the contract will earn.
Details
The Sushi rewards from the LP staking program on Sushiwap can either be redistributed to the LPs or kept in the balance sheet of the Idle treasury and staked. Letting the treasury stake the Sushiswap rewards would foster healthy long-term growth for the protocol and would not require new code.
If the community decides now to redistribute the Sushiswap rewards to LPs (either all LPs or only to the ones who kept the funds staked for the entire 6 months period), new code has to be written and reviewed and that will take time and effort.
