[Temperature check] - Single Idle staking
Summary
In order to guarantee sustainable staking rewards, the Idle Leagues simulated different staking model scenarios and FeeCollector distribution weights.
With the help of the $IDLE Staking Calculator and also analysing the Rebalancer Cost Outlook in order to come up with an optimal allocation, the Treasury League suggest the following weights: 50% staking rewards + 30% rebalancer + 10% fee treasury + 10% smart treasury Forum Discussion link
Details
The current FeeCollector weights are currently: 80% Smart Treasury, 15% Fee Treasury, 5% Rebalancer. To give token holders the opportunity to get maximum rewards out of all the options evaluated while allowing the protocol to pursue its sustainability, the Treasury League suggests changing the split of the FeeCollector weight to: 50% staking rewards + 30% rebalancer + 10% fee treasury + 10% smart treasury. It’s the Treasury League opinion that this is a balanced redistribution. Suggested weights would still cover the rebalance expenses, the flow to the fee treasury would still be sustainable and fees would still flow to the smart treasury.
