Summary

As announced in this post, subDAOs will be multiple divisions with the role of accelerating all the processes and managing all the activities that will help to develop and grow the Idle protocol.

This poll aims to officialize and approve the subDAOs (Leagues) structure, all their parameters, and the total budget planned for their mandate.

Details

The first subDAOs announced are:

• The Treasury League which will work on the same activities carried out until now by the Pilot League, helping to grow the Idle ecosystem and protocol;
• The Dev League which will work on smart contract development, security reviews, and tech infrastructure.

Both leagues will have a 3-month mandate.

Dev League composition: 2 full-time devs + 1 Supervisor Treasury composition: 2 Project Managers + 3 Supervisors

Dev compensations could vary between $ 4k and $ 11k, according to the 4 seniority levels, with bonuses in the range 50-200 $IDLE per month.

Treasury full-time members could receive a $ 2k-9k monthly salary + 50-200 $IDLE bonus. Supervisors would be rewarded with 10% of the Senior level 1 compensation.

Selected applicants will enter a 3-week sprint phase, where SVs have the right to upgrade/downgrade or remove a PM if the skills do not match with expectations.

Treasury budget

• Operating budget: 2,500 $IDLE (remaining budget from the Pilot League 2-month mandate) + 5000 $IDLE as new budget + the $IDLE token bonuses allocated to contributors (in the 789-2380 $IDLE range)
• Salaries: between $44.4k and $128.4k, half in $IDLE and half in ETH/stablecoins.

Dev budget Operating budget: $ 20,000 in ETH

Governance expenses The overall mandate budget could likely range from a minimum budget of ~7.8k IDLE and $42.2k (ETH/stablecoins) and a maximum budget of ~13k IDLE and $84k (ETH/stablecoins), according to token’s market conditions.
