TL;DR

Requesting additional 0.35 funding to travel to 3 locations and film some final tricks for “GNARS’ly” video part.

Original ask in Gnars Discord Prop Discussion was 0.42 ETH but lowered the ask cause ETH price went up.

Introduction

This is a project I’m working on since October 2022 after my Gnars Sponsorship proposal passed. Gnars Dao alocated me 2k so I can pay mine and my filmer’s Andy Haroupias travelling expenses.

What are all the details?

Me and Andy have already travelled to lots of destinations around Greece (Thessaloniki, Arta, Lefkada, Ioannina, Filipiada and more) and budget is running low. To finish this part I am asking 0.35 ETH to cover travelling expenses to 3 more destinations (Corfu,Agrinio, Patra) as well as buy a few things I need (boards, shoes, trucks).

I’ve seen some really awesome spots in those cities and I do wanna skate them so bad hehe! Our current budget only allow us to do 1 day trips, not travel to further destinations and spend the night in hotels.

How will impact be made?

Skate and film in the spots I want will hype me up to land dope tricks and complete the video part as I envisioned it. This will be the first ever GNARS athlete video part and I want it to be as GNAR’ly as it can get!

GNARS’ly video part will be uploaded to GNARS Youtube channel and will be a permanent advertisement for the DAO. Also hopefully this part motivates GNARS athletes to work on something bigger like a GNARS full video?!?

Deadline for filming is on April 30 and part will be delivered in May 2023.

What happens if proposal doesn’t get funded

Nothing really. There are always closer destinations we can visit and film so we’ll keep doing those 1 day trips and hopefully we can find some cool spots to skate.

Regardless the outcome of this prop thank you Gnars fam for motivating me to film a video part at my 30’s, feels f*cking amazing!

Full video is gonna be dope featuring never-skated-before street spots and will be dropping as an open edition NFT (still working on drop details).
