Surfguru is going to create a well rounded educational campaign with graphic presentations, video content and online classes during 3 months to onboard Brazilian surfers to become Gnars holders.

Surfguru is going to offer a 1 year subscription for all Gnars holders with +2 NFTs and 90 days subscription for all holders. The subscription includes:

• 15 days of surf forecast
• Personalized surf alerts
• +10 years of forecast data
• Less ads
• Access to benefits club
• 10% goes to the oceans

WHO

Surfguru is the leading surf forecast website and largest surfer community in Brazil with +300k unique users and +37k followers on instagram, providing surfers with comprehensive information on wave forecast and surf news. Surfguru’s mission is to connect people with the ocean, live the Aloha spirit and take care of the ocean. 10% of Surfguru’s income goes to social and environmental projects around Brazil, like TPM (also sponsored by Gnars).

Surfguru founded Surfhive, created the social currency DROP to reward beach clean ups, and has done educational campaign for Detrash. Mari and Luiz Hadad, are partners of Surfguru, sponsored athletes and active members of GnarsDAO. Críscia is an active content creator of Thatsgnar.ly and she also creates content for Surfguru and she leads Surfhive. She did the reels about Thatsgnar.ly that went viral with +23k views and onboarded 19 creators to TG. In addition, Surfguru has a wide team that believes that GnarsDAO can become a very strong community of surfers.

WHY

Brazilian surfers are becoming more and more interested in NFTs. Surfjunkies is a great example of that with +3k mints in 3 days, which +40% were web3 newbies. Plus, big surfers like 3 times world champion Gabriel Medina and giant wave surfer Lucas Chumbo are involved in large crypto projects.

From a different perspective, GnarsDAO benefited greatly by partnering with well-established communities such as, Coletivo XV. And now it can partner with Surfguru impact NounsDAO through the surf community.

  2. Basics of creating a waller, buying ETH and purchasing a Gnar at Opensea
  3. How to bid and settle Gnars auction

• 2 Live interviews with GnarsDAO members on Surfguru instagram during the two first months

• 1 Online class about GnarsDAO at the end of the 3 months

• 30k Banner impressions per month of GnarsDAO on Surfguru’s website

• 1 Newsletter per month to Surfguru’s users to share the instagram content to the users

• 1 Article about GnarsDAO on Surfguru and Surfhive
