TLDR : Asking 2.4 ETH funding for 3 months (0.8 Eth/month) for managing Gnars Hive blockchain account (activity, community building and treasury).

Some info about me

For those who don’t know me my name is Haris or @knowhow92 on social, life-long skateboarder, Web 3 content creator, founder/ community manager of Skatehive and board member/athlete of Gnars.DAO

I’m an active builder on Hive blockchain (former Steem) for 5 years and since October 2022 I’m managing Gnars account On Hive.

My GNARly work on Hive

Managing Gnars Hive account requires deep knowledge of how the social layer of Hive works like best hours for posting,tags used, post formation,people/projects/communities we follow/engage with etc., deep understanding of the blockchain itself and lots of hours of online activity weekly, just like every social media.

Some of the most note-worthy stuff I do for Gnars Hive account are

• Posting : Currently posting from Gnars account 2 times a week. Some of those posts are mirroring Gnarly News by Satori, Gnars shredding report authored by me on a weekly basis, Gnarthly Hive growth report authored by me on a monthly basis and more.

• Curating : A month ago after Gnars community voted “For” in Skatehive’s Decentralized Sponsorship Proposal, Gnars Hive account Powered up 11k Hive so we can support extreme sports athletes on Hive. Since then we’ve distributed hundreds of dollars to skateboarders and surfers via upvotes on their content (curation) thanks to the awesome tokenomics of Hive and Gnars/Skatehive as well as partners (other projects on Hive).

When I’m curating content from Gnars account I always make sure I distribute rewards in a fair way and check every content thoroughly so I can be certain it’s original.

• Engagement I am engaging in extreme sports athletes content (and some finance content) on a daily basis cause that’s the best way to get noticed and build a solid following.

• Hive Treasury Growth and Management : I am growing Gnars Hive wallet daily either by posting, commenting or curating content on Hive blockchain. I am making sure all our rewards are managed correctly and split equally in both Hive and HBD (Hive stablecoin) so we can have both stability and safety in our account.

About athletes onboarding, a bunch of folks from Skatehive and Hive have already joined Gnars and more will be coming if we keep of Gnars Hive account in high levels.

3) Decentralized Social Media

Having an active online blog in one of the most-useds social blockchain right now is matters. No-one can delete our content, we’re reaching out to like-minded people (athletes/investors/artists) and we’re supporting the Web3 decentralized movement.

4) Diversification

Not having all our eggs in one basket is very healthy for a DAO. Our current stake on Hive is worth $4,391.030 at the moment of writing with Hive price at $0.39.

Our stake will only keep growing as we curate and create GNARly content and those rewards compound on a daily basis. Hive is a gift that keeps on giving.

What to expect

I have many plans for Gnars Hive account in the near future if the community is with me on this one! Some of them are

• Collaborate with Gnars community members and create more Gnarly content to post on our Hive blog, just like I currently do with Satori’s Gnarly News

• Sponsoring Skatehive’s upcoming “GetStoken” Contest (more info soon)

• Creating arts and sports contests for our Hive followers

• Growing our followers and engagement as well as our Hive treasury

Requesting 2.4 ETH for 3 Months

I am requesting 0.8 ETH/month for my upcoming work on Gnars Hive account for the months of February, March and April.

I have already recieved 0.8 ETH for managing Gnars Hive account 3 months ago when my Sponsorship proposal to Gnars Dao passed and if you’re happy with the results so far you can vote “FOR” when this proposal goes live for voting.

What happens if proposal doesn’t pass

As promised in Skatehive’s Decentralized Sponsorship Proposal I am gonna keep posting the “Weekly Shredding Report” as well as mirror Satori’s “Gnarly News” but will spend less time in growing Gnars reputation and treasury on Hive.

What I am currently doing for Gnars on Hive is really time consuming so I am gonna keep it simple and won’t engage in posts as well as think and execute account growth strategies such as new weekly posts and organising contests.
