Summary:

This proposal is to retain me (Cyphr) as a full-time contributor to the DAO & studio. This proposal would cover the period of August 2023 - August 2024.

Over the past 12 months I have worked full time undertaking the tasks outlined in GM 24.1 — Cyphr 12 month retainer . Additionally I have since been elected president of the recently formed of the legal entity ‘gmDAO association’, which entails new responsibilities such as preparing annual reports and executing the wishes of the general assembly.

During the previous 12 month retainer, we have reached a number of milestones for both the studio & the DAO. These achievements were made possible by many people, but all of which I oversaw & directed.

• Provided employment opportunities for over 10 individuals
• Incorporation of the DAO as an association in Switzerland
• Incorporation of our first company under the gmDAO umbrella (gm. studio AG)
• Maintained treasury above 500k after 1 year of DAO expenses
• Generated over 20,000 ETH in secondary volume across all collections
• Inaugural general assembly / annual meeting held

As with the previous proposal, the number of hours dedicated towards the DAO & studio varies dependent of certain factors such as drop timing & DAO related activities such as the general assembly, but for simplicity’s sake I have chosen to request 35 hours / week, which is slightly below the monthly average

Unlike the previous proposal, we now have a legal mechanism to dismiss me as both president of the DAO, as well as chairman of gm. studio AG due to negligence. Should either of these happen, I would adjust the proposal according to however much work remained under the updated remit.

How do you want to contribute to the DAO going forward**?**

Full time responsibilities would include but not be limited to:

• Build & maintain the reputation of the gmDAO association as it’s President
• Ensure the adherence & execution of the strategic vision of the DAO (as defined in our articles of association)
• Provide regular updates to the DAO (via Bi-Weekly townhalls)
• Ensure the DAO is compliant in legal & tax regulations
• Management of gmDAO & gm. studio Twitter accounts
• Moderation & community management of gmDAO & gm. studio discords
• Business development for the gm. studio (i.e artist acquisition, onboarding & building brand awareness)
• Handling of artist submissions to the studio in a timely manner
• Providing the curation panel with all necessary assets & information to perform their function and collating panel feedback to prospective artists.
• Undertaking annual meeting / general assembly
