Tulipa Capital is DeFi-native collective focusing on Delta-neutral farming with more than $180M value curated.

A first market curated by them was deployed as a joint initiative between Tulipa, Resolv and Gearbox to allow borrowing against Resolv collaterals including wstUSR, RLP and its PTs.

Comparable markets have sustained an average borrow rate of ~9%, suggesting strong utilization potential for Gearbox and a solid base for sustainable liquidity mining (LM) incentives. 3. Expansion through a seasoned market curator Tulipa Capital is an experienced curator managing over $180M in delta-neutral strategies. Their participation not only ensures efficient market management but also promotes adoption of the Gearbox stack within their extensive network of DeFi-native participants, attracting sophisticated lenders and borrowers. 4. Diversifying Gearbox’s collateral base This market expands the range of accepted collateral types beyond traditional blue-chip assets, positioning Gearbox to serve new user segments and strategies, especially in the structured products and delta-neutral space.

Bootstrapping strategy and grant request

Resolv proposed to allocate $20k in $RESOLV tokens split in the following way if Gearbox DAO matches this incentives in $GEAR:

• $10k for the first month
• $5k for the second month
• $5k for the third month

This GIP is to request $20k in $GEAR tokens to distribute following the same schedule.

Tulipa Capital are also agreed to seed the market with $1M of their capital

Execution

If proposal passes with “For”, send 4650000 $GEAR token to Reward Management multisig (0x6f378f36899cEB7C6fB7D293aAE1ca86B0Edbf6D) for LM setup.
