How It Works

1. Assessment

• Qualitative score determined by the committee ( @mugglesect , @ivangbi , @0xmikko , @apeir99n , @kotler ) factoring in risk management, partner relationships, credit-risk-framework improvements, community feedback, and any extraordinary contributions.

2. Quarterly review.

• At the end of each quarter the committee assigns a Good / Great / Awesome rating.
• The rating dictates the bonus uplift shown above.

3. Payout mechanics.

• Bonuses are paid 50% in the pool’s assets/stables and 50% in GEAR. The GEAR price is calculated as the 2-week TWAP before the payment date.

4. No-bonus scenario.

• If performance falls below “Good,” only the base compensation is paid; no negative adjustment is applied.

Rationale for the Change

1. Referral data is unreliable. Large-ticket “whale” users rarely bother with the referral program, making direct attribution of Jorge’s BD work impossible.

2. Committee-based evaluation solves this. A four-member committee will judge his overall impact, using protocol-wide. TVL growth as one of several benchmarks rather than the sole metric.

3. Extra incentive layer. Because this bonus is parallel to Obra rewards, it provides an additional lever to recognize value that standard Obra scoring might miss.
