Summary

This proposal seeks to establish the presence of a t-shirt cannon at FEST23 for any merchandise on site, especially the bootleg merch :) Food items can be wrapped in a shirt as well to add a free food element to the experience.

Motivation

To motivate FWB members to grab some bootleg merchandise or pay to have their friends blasted with a surprise hot dog wrapped in a t-shirt.

Impact on FWB community

In addition to adding to the “lore” of FWB FEST, I believe FWB will look cool in press recaps. Future headlines could include “FWB member @sisterjam improved morale once again by turning shakedown street into more of a minor league baseball game atmosphere. Allowing friends to pay him to shoot their friends with food wrapped inside of a limited edition bootleg t-shirt.” I also want this to be an example for our decentralized future in terms of voting on proposals submitted from our community.

Discussion

After community input, I have decided to purchase a less expensive model. The prices of renting vs owning this model are similar. I think we might as well own it.

Sick pics on IG, meeting cool FWB type peeps IRL.

$3,500 USD
$1K for hot dog/t shirt cannon
$1.5K for merch to put into cannon
$250 for free food to put in cannon
$750 - transportation/logistics/shirt design
