Expense Categories

• Contributor payments: payments to staff and contributor teams including staff, product, marketing, editorial, treasury, membership, and governance.

• Admin expenses: Admin expenses such as payments for Notion, Zapier, Airtable, Zoom, and Gmail.

• Marketing Costs: Costs to support initiatives such as Fest, the OpenSea partnership, and the upcoming Hennessy partnership / these initiatives are also revenue generating and at a minimum are revenue neutral.

Revenue

Anticipated revenue expected in Season 7 from our Cafe 11 partnership as well as potential partnerships around Art Basel in December. Prior revenue from June, July, August of this year was over $400K USD from partners like OpenSea, SuperRare, Fest, and more.

Conclusion

The proposed Season 7 Operating Budget totals approximately 316K USDC per month.

Additionally, the Snapshot proposals budget previously approved by the FWB community averages approximately 83K USDC per month.

There will be a Budget Discussion Town Hall in the FWB Discord on Monday August 29th and the budget will go live on Tuesday August 30th for a full week.
