Friends With Benefits

Overview

We are excited to be voting for our first set of Garage Grant winners! FWB Garage™️ makes it easier for members to propose, fund, and produce a creative project that benefits the FWB community. This Season, Garage Grants will distribute up to $50K worth of $FWB to get member-led projects off the ground. Projects are meant to benefit the FWB community by aligning with one of three categories: Friends, Benefits, or Wildcard. The community has submitted 50+ proposals, now it’s time for all of us to vote on our favorites!

As a reminder of how this process will work:

• $20K max is allotted per category (this is to ensure that a diverse range of projects receive grants)
• $50K in total will be distributed this season.
• Find the table with details for every proposal here - when you go to a row you can click the two diagonal blue arrows to expand the row details
• The entire community can vote on their favorite proposals via Snapshot (that’s this!)
• Voting is set up such that you can place a vote for any number of projects that you are excited by. The projects with the most votes will be selected for funding (with max of $20k per category). This is not ranked choice. As such, it would be best to select projects such that you don’t go over $20k per category, but it’s up to you.

Remember, there’s no “right” answer here, projects should align with the FWB vibe, mission, and/or community. That leaves things pretty open!
