Updating the Communication Committee's Compensation to be paid in $APE
Proposal:
I propose that rather than paying Comms Committee in PV assets (Jupiter tokens), we compensate each member an equivalent of USD$500 worth of $APE at the time of each pay period (1st of each month)
PVFD currently has 36,408 $APE, worth roughly USD$250k as of today’s price (29/07/22) of $7 per $APE. At today’s price, each member will receive 71.4 $APE.
Everyone agrees the Comms Committee should be compensated for their hard work; the point of contention was how they should be compensated. With this proposal, we aim to find a middle ground that benefits both parties:
- Comms Committee members get compensated in a liquid asset.
- PVFD doesn’t lose any of its PV assets.
I also believe the committee members should be retroactively awarded the full June and July compensation amounts paid in USD$500 worth of $APE per month to MelvinCapital, Zentensivist, and WestCoastWalker, which is to be awarded upon this proposal’s passing.
Comms Committee compensation shall be reviewed once PVFD royalty revenue begins to decide if members should be compensated in $APE or ETH.
