Sell up to 20-25% of the liquid funds in the treasury to diversify into other assets
DAO holds around 129.229961269318786516 ETH at the time of writing
With ETH price underperforming, the DAO not doing anything productive with its assets and other assets such as NFTs underperforming, this is both a wasted opportunity and disservice to the community not taking advantage of the upcoming altcoin bullrun
Proposal to take action and:
- Form a “trading committee” from members of the community. To be voted on outside of snapshot
Note: Voting yes to this proposal means you are ok with the community deciding who the “trading committee” members are by way of discord discussion and other crude means. Voting members via snapshot is cumbersome and slow. The bullmarket waits for no one
- Sell eth that the DAO is holding. of up to 20-25%. It will be sold off incrementally by the committee
- Use funds to buy a basket of coins to speculate on at the discretion of the committee, but feedback will be taken from the community. Investment size will be adjust proportional to the risk of the asset.
e.g. memecoins wil have proportionally smaller investments compared to less risky assets such as Solana and other large caps
