Proposal Title: Vote to Select The Official Founders DAO Mission Statement

Date of Submission: 2/15/23

Proposal Committee: The Executive Committee

Implementer(s): The Executive Committee will be responsible for creating and updating foundational documents to include the community chosen mission statement. In addition, the Executive Committee will utilize the chosen mission statement while building the Founders DAO Constitution.

Discussion: A dedicated discussion channel was established on 11/22/22. A mission statement survey was administered starting 12/17/23. One on One interviews were conducted. Data analysis was shared with the community and opened for further discussion in all channels.

Summary: Based on the Executive Committee’s research, 8 mission statements were created. This proposal allows for the community to select the best option from the 8, in order to establish an Official Founders DAO Mission Statement.

Abstract: Members will determine one official mission statement from 8 choices put forth by the Executive Committee or vote for the committee to bring forth different options.

Motivation: The selection of a mission statement will make official the direction and purpose of the Founders DAO. The official Founders DAO Mission Statement should be considered in the planning of all future endeavors including a business model or any future proposals.

Specification: Members have provided information, opinions, and engaged in discussion over a 2 month period of time. Analysis of that information by the Executive Committee has resulted in 8 mission statement options ranging from large and specific to small and broad. To help inform the communities voting decisions the 1Data Analysis, 2Raw Data, 3Full Interim Strategy, and a 4Mission Statement Selection Guide have all been linked below.

A single mission statement will be selected as the “winner” (#1 choice) using ranked choice voting. A 5RCV guide has been linked below. A single mission statement will be determined the “winner” and become the Official Founders DAO Mission Statement. The winning mission statement will be official when it reaches a majority of the votes, the voting period has ended, and quorum has been reached. Members will also have an option to vote down all 8 statements and request other options. Mission Statement Options:

Mission 1: To build alongside PV and create a smooth adaptable DAO that can represent our members and enable them to create thriving communities and sustainable business models.

Mission 2: To push the boundaries of web3 as a community of creatives, executing on opportunities along the way

Mission 3: Our DAO empowers community-driven investment, with a focus on discovering new opportunities while advancing the vision of Pixel Vault. We prioritize transparency, accountability, and integrity in all we do.

Mission 4: Empowering our web3 community, growing assets, and unlocking cutting-edge information through decentralized collaboration.

Mission 5: To provide our token holders a community for growth, personal wealth from the opportunities it creates, and shared wealth through better leverage of our assets.

Mission 6: Make a lot of money having fun along the way.

Mission 7: To carry our bags to Valhalla.

Mission 8: To build on what we’ve got.

Option 9: NO WINNER; new statements needed.

Execution: Proposal Submitted by Executive Committee The Executive Committee makes an announcement and engages in public discussion. Proposal goes live. Rank choice voting starting with all 8 mission statements and a “no winner” option. One “winner” chosen when quorum has been reached, the voting period has ended, and a single option has reached a majority.

Benefits: A well chosen mission that encompasses our near and long term goals will help guide the community as we build our business plan and determine the best proposals to create and pass.

Drawbacks: The mission statement chosen by the community will help guide our current and future endeavors. Future business plans, and all future proposals, will need to be aligned to the chosen mission in order to have the best possible chance at success. Selecting one that is not accurate to our goals or is too broad or narrow, may have lasting negative impacts.

Outcomes: This proposal will be successful when voting is closed, quorum has been reached, and a single voting option has reached a majority of the votes. If the winning option is one of the 8 mission statements, that statement will become the Official Founders DAO Mission Statement.
