FIP-73 Amendment 1: Exclude FeiRari
Summary Exclude the FeiRari pool from the FEI liquidity cuts involved in FIP-73.
Motivation In order to protect the FEI Peg, there has been support for contractionary monetary policy in order to increase demand for FEI. FIP-73 (https://snapshot.org/#/fei.eth/proposal/0x825420b492363969de1d728655904181d92df2984631a232533e6a86b2125ee3) takes several measures to enact this contractionary policy, but it has one major flaw. The issue with the current FIP-73 proposal is that it drains FEI borrowing liquidity from TRIBE holders, which reduces the utility of TRIBE. This only slightly increases peg security, which is not worthwhile in exchange for de-prioritizing access to FEI liquidity for TRIBE holders. This proposal excludes the FeiRari pool from having its FEI liquidity removed.
Specification This amendment replaces the text “Withdraw FEI from Fuse positions until utilization is 80%” with “Withdraw FEI from Fuse positions until utilization is 80%, except for the FeiRari pool.”
