Proposed MAYC Purchase
It is proposed that we purchase a Mutant Ape in the 14-18 ETH range. We already follow the Yuga Labs eco-system closely.
THE PROS: The price is very attractive in this market. Yuga Labs traditionally give great drops and perks to those who own both a Bored Ape & Mutant. Mutant Apes much lower price means that it tends to climb much higher in price than Bored Ape does, in percentage terms, when the market pumps. Owning both a BAYC & MAYC allow us to potentially sell one of them if a market condition presents itself, while still holding the other.
CONS: We will be exposing ourselves to more single project risk ie if Yuga Labs has issues we will now have two assets tied to that.
That said as we were able to purchase our BAYC It is felt that other than overall market risk ie all NFTs going down, MAYC’s current price is an incredible entry opportunity.
Please note we are currently doing research on a shortlist of other Big Cap candidates that include Doodles, Moonbirds, RTFKT/CloneX, Godjira, Cyberkongz.
