Token Spin-Off Vote
The council proposes spinning off the fund and governance aspects of Fat Cats from the NFT into an ERC-20 token:
The ERC-20 token would represent the fund and governance, serving as a pro-rata share and vote. All existing bylaws, including our council structure and mandates, would be inherited.
The Fat Cats NFT would become a wholly owned asset of the ERC-20 token. The NFT will act as an entry pass to our token-gated community offering access to research, education, opportunities and giveaways. We plan to pivot as the space evolves so as to remain relevant and valuable to our holders.
If the vote passes, a token will be created and airdropped in the near future. To avoid speculation, a snapshot was taken at 9:11 pm UTC / 5:11 pm ET

While we see no reason for the SEC or any similar organization to assert authority over us, as we are certainly not a security, the council remains committed to good governance and best practices. We acknowledge that regulatory clarity is currently opaque, and we are committed to updating you all and pivoting together should the need arise.
