Description

The thought here is to hire a discord team to be consitently active for the community. Having a paid team gives a presence from Xpunks Staff in the discord. While volunteers are good, they have other commitments. By instituting paid positions we ensure someone is available and interacting with the community.

Details

The proposal is designed to hire (A) a Head Moderator who acts as the Community Manager to work with the holders, marketing teams, and the founders as well as (B) 1-2 supporting moderators to supplement the Head Moderator’s capacity. Head Mod/Community Manager Duties: -monitors the daily ongoings of the Expansion Punks discord. -builds and managers a supporting mod team to maintain the discord. -Sets up Community Nights via twitter spaces and discord events. I.e trivia, gartic, rumble royal, marbles on twitch. -Schedules meetings for the team to meet and interact.

Head Mod/Community Mgr should be expected to put in a minimum of 30 hrs/week. Supporting Mods should be expected to put in 10 hrs/week, coverage coordinated by Head Mod. Head mod has the authority to remove a supporting mod from duty if they are not meeting expectations. In the same sense the Head Mod can be removed by community (through proposal) if they fail to meet expectations.

If proposal passes, the role will be posted in Discord and via Twitter and available for applications for a period of 7 days. All applications will be made available to MSW for audit purposes. Applications will be reviewed by the Marketing Guild. Top candidates (up to 4) will be submitted to Snapshot for community vote in next available proposal cohort. Back up mods will be selected by the head mod from the list of applicants, current mods, or other means seen fit by the Head Mod.

When a Marketing Leader is hired to replace the current mktg co-leads, the Community Mgmt/Moderation team is subject to change under the new Marketing Leader’s direction.
