To continue an active presence in the Discord interacting with community, optimizing, and monitoring the day-to-day operations of the Discord.

This Proposal is to keep a paid moderation team.

Head Mod Role Expectations Security: Remove malicious links and activity, Monitor daily ongoings in the Discord Community: Engage regularly with community members, Welcome newcomers into the community in #MeetTheXPunks and new holders, Answer questions and generally be helpful and curate a good community environment and overall ‘vibe’ Operations: Clean up the Discord to allow for easier navigation, Assist CMO in reminding community of events, competitions, activations etc.

Mod KPI’s: Increased discord engagement, questions answered, newcomers welcomed, overall morale of community

Head Mod/Community Mgr should be expected to put in a minimum of 30 hrs/week. Supporting Mods should be expected to put in 10 hrs/week, coverage coordinated by Head Mod. Head mod has the authority to remove a supporting mod from duty if they are not meeting expectations.“Community Mgmt/Moderation team is subject to change under CMO’s direction if they fail to meet expectations. The moderation team shall be paid 1.1 ETH/mo paid via an on-chain money streaming protocol that allows for automated, recurring, programmable cashflows.

Implementation

MSW will execute a smart contract on-chain money streaming protocol to manage compensation commitment. Discord team will continue to operate under direction of CMO according to the Expectations detailed above.

Timeline

The current 3-month Mod team term (as established by XIP 9) comes to a close on September 6th. This proposal is to extend that term beginning September 7th for a 6-month term through March 6th. CMO will evaluate performance and value during the last week of each month’s term, to determine ongoing extension of this Moderation model.

Cost

Total = 6-month term e.g. 6 mo x 1.1 ETH/mo = 6.6 ETH payout over 6 months Head Mod.Community Manager 0.8 ETH/mo. Supporting Mods (2) 0.15 ETH/mo. each.
