Although Sal and Slasher have not asked to be rewarded for contributing, we realize the importance of rewarding people that make a big impact.

Slasher’s and Sal’s work with the Optimism grant resulted in 300,000 OP tokens ($218,760 at the time of writing) to move the project forward after a first failed attempt with Op, as well as not finding success with other routes.

In June, 6 hours were spent building and editing the first proposal. Slasher worked on the original proposal over a 4-week time span tweaking things from feedback. He spent an average of 2 hours each day, over a 25-day period, refining proposal with feedback on OP gov forums.

Sal records 10 hours. He submitted the proposal for review at the beginning of Oct and was in communication with the Op Gov forum up through the snapshot close date of 10/20/2022.

He refined and edited the document, sought feedback from the crew and larger community, and defended Dope Wars in the Op forum and in Discord.
