GM Hustlers

We have the opportunity to redeploy the old website design and the swapmeet functionality utilizing the V2 code.

Bort reviewed and tested the code as per the proposals deliverable and acceptance, the majority was in working order.

Swapmeet V2.1

There were a number of the issues still existing that had to be resolved;

• Indexer instability when large volumes of items were transferred and hustler updates were made in a constant flow. Some further code refactoring, efficient error handling and an increase in higher tiered compute helped resolve the issue.
• Items wouldn’t generate their svg image, the G Wagons in particular wouldn’t load their onchain data, an off chain generation was able to restore the images on swapmeet but some have invalid data onchain and will not be visible, this also occurring on marketplaces such as opensea.
• hustler customization in the UI was not functioning, code fixes resolved the issue.

Additional work was needed to get the site and swapmeet redeployed;

• deploy/setup the whole stack (excluding the MMO game)
• Refactoring’s in the backend/indexer to simplify the codebase and make it more performant in certain scenarios.

Thing to note

one item missing from the original proposal was the ability to mint a naked hustler without needing to own or purchase a dope. This was $800 in the proposal.

HP and MrFax

Have provided and updated images and text on the website and we have the ability to create new ‘icons’ and ‘pages’ like the ‘about.exe’ as we need them to expand upon the website as needed.

Ongoing costs

Approx. $140 USD per month to keep the current services operational for the website and swapmeet functionality. Any adhoc minor development by our contributors via can be compensated via OP and/or PAPER based on the current DopeLabs rates.

This excludes and major updates or redesigns or features. The current scope is to restore the previous website and swapmeet functionality. if the DAO requests further changes then a new proposal can be made by the contributors willing to perform the work.

Redeployment costs

Seeking approval for

$2500 USD in OP for redeploying services required to run the website and swapmeet, further development by refining and fixing issues in the code, updates to the website images and text.

What the DAO will get;

1. The old look and feel website, minor updates initially.

1. the swapmeet v2 app 2.1 Wallet connect and reads your inventory - gear, hustlers, paper, dopes and anything you are actively selling on swapmeet (items for sale on swapmeet are exclusively for sale on swapmeet)

2.2 Dopes for sale and if they are bundled or unbundled. Paper claim status is not viewable via the UI but can be checked directly via the DopeBot in Discord or the Contract directly.

2.3 ability to mint a hustler with a dope you own or by purchasing a dope for sale - pay in paper, eth or usdc

2.4 ability to buy a dope for sale - pay in paper, eth or usdc

2.5 preview the dope items on a randomly generated hustler

2.6 non naked hustlers for sale, or filter by OGs - pay in paper, op or eth

2.7 gear for sale - pay in paper, op or eth

2.8 prices shown in paper, it will show you the usd value on checkout, a fall back to price in eth if paper price cannot be calculated. 2.9 transfer your items, dopes, gear, hustlers to another wallet.

2.10 Customise you hustlers loadout, look and name.

Voting;

1. Accept the submission in DIP-61 Swapmeet V2 as delivered. The DAO forfeits the ability to pursue the funds and redeploy the site.
