Background
The current requirements for $DG governance proposals are:
- 1% of circulating supply to initiate proposal
- 10% of circulating supply to vote yes to reach quorum
- 7 day voting period
Proposal
Update $DG governance requirements to:
- 1% of circulating supply to initiate proposal
- 15% of circulating supply to vote yes to reach quorum
- 4 day voting period
Add rule if >50% of staked $DG and 15% of circulating supply vote yes before the 4 day voting period is over, we can implement the changes immediately.
Rationale
$DG hodlers need to be able to initiate and pass proposals immediately in response to market conditions.
