Decentral Games

Background We have been running the polygon validator node for many months now and our checkpoints are always 100% signed. Many other validator nodes charge between 3% and 100% commission, we currently don’t charge anything at all.

Proposal

• Increase the commission of the validator node to 5% and convert it into ICE
• Use the rewards we are currently generating monthly from the polygon validator node and convert them into ICE

Rationale Given the current scenario were we are running the node, and we have plenty of self-staked matic on the node, we are not earning anything from the additional staked matic rather than hedging the risk of getting slashed, which since we are running the node, won’t happen. By increasing the commission to something rational we can convert those tokens into ICE. The commission rate is also the result of being able to generate a name for decentral games over the last months, for a third party person is not the same to stake on a 0% commission validator node with no name in the market which can turn out to be a scam and get slashed, than to stake on decentral games or binance validator node, so a 5% commission is more than fare.
